Buick Announces Price of the New 2010 Buick LaCrosse

2010-buick-lacrosseThe press has been in quite a buzz since the 2010 Buick Lacrosse was announced at the Detroit Auto Show, of course the buzzing was of positive reviews. The new Buick is seen as the major competitor to similarly priced sedans such as the Acura TSX, Lexus ES350, and the Lincoln MKZ. However now the LaCrosse has another advantage, a lower price than all three.

Starting at $27,835, the 2010 Lacrosse CX will deliver 255 horsepower and 217 lp-ft of torque using a 3.0 L direct injection V6 engine, paired with a six-speed automatic transmission. There is also a CXL model starting at $32,570 which delivers all-wheel drive, automatic climate control, and heated leather seats. The high-end CXS upgrades the engine to a 3.6 L, providing 280 horsepower and 259 lb-ft of torque. This beauty starts at $33,765.

Cincinnati Ford dealerships are interested in what the new car will do to the industry. A Beechmont Ford representative said, “…the car definitely has potential. That is an attractive price for consumers, and the power that comes along with it certainly is a great value.” The LaCrosse is expected to begin manufacturing this summer, and will be in dealers hands shortly after that. Autoblog.com is saying that this years model could be the “savior of the brand”

One thing is for sure, people are excited to see how the car preforms.
