Acura announces the TSX Sport Wagon

2011 acura tsx sport wagon 2 Acura announces the TSX Sport Wagon

Honda announced the TSX will hit dealerships late fall.  Most are surprised with this announcement due to the fact alot of makers have steered from the wagons and more toward the SUVs.  Especially, since more consumers have preconceived notions about “station wagons”.  The Acura TSX will have alot of competition to keep up with.  With all the SUVs and crossovers the TSX will have to have something that stands out to get consumers to pay attention to it.  And to the consumers that like the wagons, Subaru has their little part on the market with their Outback.

The Acura TSX is said to have everything you want in a sports sedan.  The four doors, front wheel drive and powerful engine specifications with superior interior features.  The 201 horsepower 2.4L four cylinder or the 280 horsepower 3.5L V6 is impressive no matter which one you choose.  Both are available with the front wheel drive.  The standard features of the TSX is the Xenon high intensity discharge headlights, the automatic climate control with an interior air filter, power glass side and tilted moonroof.  The typical power windows and power locks with remote anti theft system, premium sound system and XM radio.  The warranty is 4 year/50,000 mile which is alright but its not the best on the market.  The Acura TSX will not be a bad choice if you need the cargo space and the nice interior.  The fuel economy is estimated at 21 city/30 highway.  It ranks average with some of the best vehicles on the market.

Will the TSX take off and earn a spot in this economy?  Will the Goldsboro and New York dealers think the competition is that to sweat over?  Probably not, it will be surprising if the wagon takes off and is a big hit with the changing of consumers that want look and style.
