Ford Motor Company is recalling one of their family vehicle. the Ford Windstar is under recall for a rear axle. this recall has been issued in 21 states, the district of Columbia, and Canada. Keep in mind to check out the amazing line up of vehicles at Suzuki Dealer Rochester.

This recall was issued in places where road salt is most commonly used. Road salt has proven to be corrosive to the rear axle of the Ford Windstar. This corrosion can lead to a crack in the axle. A crack in the axle can lead to problems in the handling capabilities of the Ford Windstar van. The Windstar van was in production from 1992-2003. This Ford Motors product is no longer in production, but there are still some models out on the road.

Ford Motor company will be providing repairs for the rear axle at any Ford Dealership, and also if you rear axle can not be fixed but it need a replacement that will be provided to. Ford Motors is also providing a rental car for any one who needs it while repairs are taking place to their vehicle. Keep in mind that all repairs involved with the recall will be charge free to the customer along with the rental vehicle.

Over all this recall is for the safety of the customers. This recall was issued by Ford to make sure that all of their customers remain safe on the roads. Ford Motors has taken this recall as a lesson, and is planning on making the proper adjustments to rectify the problem.

GM will price the Chevy Volt competitively in China and the company hopes that it will gain large market shares in China. GM’s competitor Ford models can be purchased from an Ohio Ford Dealer and GM’s latest models are excellent competing models to many of Ford’s. GM hopes to gain market shares throughout the world with its latest hybrid vehicle offering, and China is now GM’s largest market. Ford has already launched its own Ford Fusion hybrid which is available at Knoxville Ford Dealers near you.

The launch of the Chevy Volt is a part of the automaker’s strategy to increase its hybrid vehicle business in China and in the rest of the world. Think of one of the most American things you possibly can, and likely an image of a muscle car will pop into your brain. People might conjure up an image of the older Beetle, but that is about as far as that goes. More than likely, Americans are drawn to the powerful sculpture designs from our American auto making engineers. The curvy sass of a Thunderbird from Cincinnati Ford Used Cars, or the powerful engine roar of the Pontiac Firebird. We are going to take a small journey back through time and look at some of the American beauties that make us proud to be American.

The term “pony car” had to be based on the Mustang from Ford Washington. The great thing about this smaller performance vehicle is that it is affordable for those people on a budget or you can get a totally tricked out and powerful one for a bigger wad of cash. Plus, the newer models are exquisite in their exterior design and reminds us of years ago, back to 1964 when the Mustang was first released. Another model from Ford is the Thunderbird. Sure, the model years early on in production were as stand out in the looks department as the newest model released, but as for the years in between we aren’t quite sure what Ford’s goal was.

General Motors has had their fair share of gorgeous hunks of metal drive the streets. The Pontiac name was only recently discarded, but the remnants of the Pontiac Firebird will forever be a piece of American pop culture. How many movies feature the Firebird? The list is too high to count, but GM has continued the legend with the success of the Chevy Camaro and Corvette.

Cash for Clunkers Fraud Being Investigated;

Fraud in the Cash for Clunkers program is being investigated throughout the United States as there appears to be circumstances in which some dealers tried to beat out the system. Check your local Ford Dealer for Ford Incentives outside of the Cash for Clunkers program for great savings and money. The United States government is now investigating a number of dealerships throughout the country that may be involved in Cash for Clunkers fraud, although Greensboro Hyundai Dealers were not involved and most dealerships were also not involved.

Kansas City Ford Dealers and other dealerships are now offering a number of different incentives, but it was tough to beat the Cash for Clunkers incentives that saw many tens of thousands of new car sales in the summer of 2009. At the moment, some dealers have paid $71,500 in fines and the NHTSA said that shady dealerships were by far in the minority. A number of junkyards did not have correct paperwork which made it difficult for government officials to verify whether or not vehicles were traded in as well.

The U.S. government is still looking for dealerships that may have attempted to play the system and there may be up to $94 million in rebates withheld as a result. Vehicles exported overseas were claimed to be destroyed after trade-in. If there is paperwork missing for the trade-ins, the government may withhold rebates for the trade-ins. Approximately 3.3 percent of all trade-ins during the program will not be honored by the government due to a lack of appropriate paperwork.

The government may continue to look for dealerships that did not have proper documentation. The government’s vehicle scraping scheme definitely worked to boost auto sales, but the resulting fraud that came out of it may make the government more cautious as to how it goes about the next incentive program.

Banana leaves, recyclable leather, and Eva; what do those three things bring to mind? If you guessed a car from Salem Mercury Dealer, you would be partially correct! Those three items listed above are all part of the Lincoln C Concept Car which was first released in 2009 at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit. That’s right, there are banana leaves on the floor for floor mats and the leather throughout the vehicle is completely recyclable. Plus, Ford updated their Sync technology to include Eva, your own guidance avatar. Chevrolet Washington DC might want to worry if this little luxury beast ever goes into production by their American auto maker competitors from Ford and Lincoln, as some of the innovations that are inside are absolutely amazing.
The small cars that Peoria Volkswagen is known for producing are usually budget friendly and can be upgraded to resemble the luxury you find from brands like Lincoln and BMW. Lincoln is claiming that their small car is actually as spacious and roomy on the inside as their 1961 Lincoln Continental was! The Lincoln C Concept Car can comfortably seat six passengers, but the four full size suicide doors would make loading and unloading groceries, cargo, or passengers a bit of a chore in a crowded parking lot. Let’s hope those doors are chip and ding resistant!
Under the hood you will find a 1.6 L four cylinder turbocharged EcoBoost engine that is expected to produce 180 horsepower and 180 pound feet of torque. It is great having those two numbers so close together because it means that this small engine will actually make drivers feel like they are driving a sporty and powerful performance car. But, drivers will be shocked at how rarely they have to visit the gas station, and the Lincoln C is estimated to get 43 mpg on the highway.
