There is a new electric car on the market by Nissan.  Its called the Leaf and its Nissan’s electric competition with the rest of the world.  It is slated to  release in late 2010.  The Nissan Leaf is to compete with Chevrolet Volt and is based on the Nissan Versa platform.  The Leaf is in its own category because includes an all electric drive train with a range of 100 miles per charge.  So, far all Nissan has given for an estimated price is about $ 25,000.  No invoice pricing is available yet but we are anticipating for the release of this vehicle.

Here is what we know about the Nissan Leaf that it will go 0-60 in about nine to ten seconds.  It has an 80 kilowatt electric motor with about 110 horsepower, one speed direct drive transmission with front wheel drive.  The fuel economy is 367 mpg , front independent suspension and antilock brakes.  The front and rear stability bar, Macpherson front strut suspension bar and the rear suspension torsion beam.  It comes with the tire pressuring monitoring system and daytime running lights.  There are some other safety features that come standard in this vehicle such as airbags and the side airbags.  The warranty on this vehicle is yet to be determined; Nissans’ standard warranty right now is the 3 yr/36,000 mile bumper to bumper with the 5 yr/100,000 power train warranty.  Anticipating on the final announcement of the warranty on just how Nissan is going to cover this new age vehicle.  Nissan Leaf’s sleek body gives it a low drag making it one of the most aerodynamic cars around.

The interior will be equipped with the EV-IT system that connects the Leaf’s on board transmitting system to a world wide data center.  The Leaf will display the number of miles it can drive and all the charging stations that are in your area.  It has the capability of letting the driver through their cell phone change the air conditioning and reset the charge functions while the Nissan Leaf is powered down.  The standard interior features are that of common features, power, steering wheel controls, cruise control and the ipod integration.  There will be more features once there can be a full auto review.  Will this Nissan beat out the other competition out there?  Will other dealers’ like that in New Jersey and Cincinnati be able to sell their cars with the fuel costs rising?

For all the people that love Hondas, love the Accord or just want something with a little more room, Crosstour is definitely worth looking at.  All the Honda lovers that go to the Honda dealers in Mississippi will definitely be checking this vehicle .  Of course, your competition is always knocking at your door.  The other crossovers you hear about from Chevy dealers and Ford dealers are turning heads too.  But for true Honda lovers, there is no turning of the heads.

2010 Ford Fusion Hybrid

This vehicle is poised to help the most valid domestic franchise build buzz in the automotive market place.  One of the most exciting features being offered on this extraordinary addition to the Ford family is that it will be able to sustain speeds of 47 miles per hour in full electric mode with one fill up lasting an impressive 700 miles.

This will put New Jersey Hyundai dealers on notice and for good reason.  Hyundai has really entered the marketplace quite aggressively with many of their programs and are picking up tons of market share.  Hopefully Ford dealers will be able to give them a run for their money.

The Ford Fusion Hybrid reviews have been good overall and its sales are expected to topple that of the Toyota Prius once availability is not as limited.  This is great news for the stuggling domestic automaker.  The 2010 Fusion Hybrid will be a car to watch in the commoing months.
